About Emily
Emily Hunt-Adiletta OBE is a bestselling author, award-winning speaker, and systems-change leader whose work has reached the highest levels of British public life.
After surviving a serious crime and a justice system that failed to respond, Emily brought a judicial review against the Director of Public Prosecutions and won a landmark case that clarified the law. She went on to serve as a senior government advisor across three British Prime Ministers, contribute to national reforms that doubled prosecution outcomes more than eighteen months ahead of target, and help create a national 24/7 support line for victims of crime. She was honored by the King with an OBE and thanked in both Houses of Parliament.
Before her life changed, Emily spent fifteen years in research, strategy, and communications, advising organizations from Apple to Unilever and conducting research on six continents. She has worked for a head of state, a legislature, and a royal family. She holds dual US-UK citizenship.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Guardian, The Times, and across every major UK broadcast network including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky News, and more. She has guest lectured at the University of Chicago, George Mason University, Lafayette College, Newcastle University, and Boston University.
She lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter.
